Andrew Marchant

Andrew Marchant has been involved in private equity investing for over 28 years during which time he has made numerous successful investments in large and small enterprises in a range in industries including business services, TMT, financial services, consumer healthcare and industrials.

He joined the Prudential in 1983 before going on to be a founding partner of what is now Permira. He subsequently joined Cinven in 1988 and was very actively involved with its growth from £400 AUM to £2.5bn AUM as well as its own buyout in 1995. He was Chairman of Unigestion’s private equity activities from 2002 until 2008.

He became a partner of Animos in 2007 and now acts in consultancy assignments and advisory roles to a number of companies and private equity firms.
